John Barrera serves as Robstown Housing Authority’s ROSS Service Coordinator for the last 5 years. The ROSS program encourages self-sufficiency. The program includes supportive services to allow the residents to age in place and continue living independently for as long as possible. The ROSS program assists elderly residents and those with disabilities. ROSS services are also available to all housing residents in general.
John has a background in Business, Psychology, Real Estate and Counseling. He earned a Communications, Business and Psychology degree from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi and Texas Tech University, John has over 25 years’ experience in working with people from all walks of life, providing valuable services and providing help to those in need. His hobbies are family time, walking, golfing and watching football.
